Ashley Rawlins is an author who believes that science is the magic that fills our world. When she’s not writing stories filled with wonder, curiosity, and heart, she works as an informatics nurse, blending her love of technology and healthcare to support her creative life (because even dreamers need to put food on the table).

Reading and writing have always been her favorite ways to explore the world and bring that spark of magical wonder into her life. Her children and their passion for science topics inspired her children’s book series, Science for Kids. Hoping that surrounding them with books about topics they love will help develop great reading skills.

When she’s not working or writing, you can usually find her with a book in hand, spending time with her 3 wonderful children, or working on her next house project (or one of the many she already started).
